Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Odoo Implementer/Functional Consultant to lead the successful deployment and configuration of the Odoo ERP system for our organization/clients. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical capabilities, ensuring Odoo is optimally configured to streamline operations and drive efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering: Conduct workshops and interviews with stakeholders to deeply understand and document their business processes, functional requirements, and pain points.
  • System Configuration: Configure and customize Odoo modules (e.g., Sales, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, CRM) to align with defined business requirements, minimizing the need for custom development.
  • Implementation & Deployment: Lead and manage the full Odoo implementation lifecycle, including analysis, design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
  • Data Migration: Oversee and execute data migration strategies from legacy systems into Odoo.
  • Testing & UAT: Develop test scenarios and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the implemented solution meets business needs and is bug-free.
  • Training & Support: Prepare comprehensive documentation and deliver training sessions to end-users and key stakeholders. Provide post-implementation functional support.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Odoo Developer team to communicate functional specifications for necessary custom modules or enhancements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on experience in implementing and configuring Odoo (preferably versions 17 or above).
  • Odoo Expertise: Strong functional knowledge of core Odoo applications (e.g., Accounting, Inventory/Warehouse, Sales, Purchasing, CRM).
  • Consulting Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications.
  • Business Acumen: Solid understanding of general business processes.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
